La Vache Restaurant, Verbier

At the end of last summer I shot photos of quite a lot of cows for the new La Vache Restaurant in Verbier (The Cow in English).  I also collected a lot of antique skis, boots and poles and shot a variety of images.  I played around with the images with black and white and then a sepia tone to give the photos a vintage feel.  In the end, my good friend Rob Sawyer from la Vache chose the vintage ski shots which are now up on the walls in la Vache.  I also helped out with the men's toilets :-)  Man or woman, you must check them out... If you have a look at my earlier gallery of the opening day of la Vache, you can have a peak inside.

La Vache is owned by Rob Sawyer, Christian Sarbach, Lawrence Dallaglio, James Blunt and Carl Foggarty.  It is based up at Attelas with a stunning view, right next to the Mt Gele.  It's a great spot to people watch, sun bathe, eat great food and take in the breath taking view.  Definitely my favourite mountain restaurant.  Here are some shots of the interior of la Vache, including the antique ski shots on the wall.  You can now buy the vintage ski prints from my photography section.
